Short and Painless
I sometimes feel like I'm wrestling with a huge, overweight muse when I write. So I find myself taking the cowardly route of copping out and not posting anything, most of the time. My philosophy - if I can't write it moderately well, don't bother.
Pleh. Boo that.
I'm opting for the fast, furious and mundane this time around. The muse and I can just slug it out on my WordPress.
In a nutshell, here's what's been going on.
- Watched Sunshine Friday night and loooved it. Lots of friends panned it but I think people just don't get it. I took away insights on many levels, primarily, what humans turn into when push comes to shove.
- Watched Miss Potter Saturday night and enjoyed it. It is after all Rated G. Had no idea what it was about (something I never do when it comes to movies) and walked out of the cinema tingling with a feel good vibe. I have such a huge respect for Beatrix Potter. Cool lady.
- Sweating like a pig from all my daily walking because of my new toy. My pedometer pushes me to complete 10,000 steps per day! I allow myself to slack off during weekends but... I can't stop myself! I. am. loving. walking. So much so that people have asked if I've been to the beach because I've gotten dark! It's just being out under the sun and not in a nicely air-conditioned car like a small percentage of the population. I signed up on a website called - www.10000steps.org.au where I log my progress. I lovet.
- Taking care of big steps that will change my life.
There, that wasn't so hard.
